BoilerMake IX

Purdue University

36 Hours of Hacking. And Eating. And much more.

BoilerMake is Purdue University's largest hackathon. BoilerMake exists to give you, the hackers, tools to bring your ideas to life. This is an event for those who love hacking, those who are new to technology, and everyone in between. Everything we do at BoilerMake is for you.

We can't wait to see what you make.

Hackers attending a tech talk

Create awesome projects

From Friday night to Sunday afternoon, you can hack on a project, learn new skills, and network with engineers from our corporate sponsors. Team up with your friends or make new ones from universities across the United States.

Win prizes

We hold an awards ceremony at the end of the weekend. Over $10,000 in prizes are given out, such as drones and Nintendo Switches. In addition to BoilerMake prizes, select sponsors also have prizes for their categories.

Oh, and by the way - we'll have free food, swag, and activities for you throughout the weekend!

What else?

We are proud to be an MLH Member Event, which means that hackers have access to resources provided by MLH like the hardware lab and various development credit for students.
